Rain, Rain, and Redfish!!!

ADVENTURE SOUTH GUIDE SERVICE-Buras/Empire/Venice---
Had Morgan, Mike and Vaughn from New Orleans. On my drive down to Venice this morning, the constant flash of lightning accompanied me off to the west, and I knew that the rise of the sun would unveil the numerous thunderstorms that were hiding in the darkness. Sure enough, at around 5:30 you could look in all directions around the Venice Marina and see nothing but a potential wet ride on the horizon. My crew opted to wait a while and see which direction the stuff was moving rather than chance it and end up regretting it later. After a few small storms passed us by, we headed in the direction that looked the best and hoped for bent rods. At our first stop the guys boated about 5 reds before we ran for cover from a wall of rain that looked like it had us in it?s sites, but is was a for not, as we didn?t get much more than a slight drizzle as it passed to our west. The day continued this was with us hiding one or two more times for no reason. At the days end the guys had a limit of 15 nice reds on board and were able to release several big reds.

Here is one of the nice reds Mike caught today. All the fish were caught using Purple/Chartreuse or Avocado Deadly Dudley Terror Tail Jr?s on ? ounce jig heads under. If you want to get in on some of the best fishing in the world, give me a call at home (504) 392-1700, or on my cell (504) 382-2711. July is booking up fast, and you do not want to miss any of that hot topwater or night fishing action. I Guarantee Fish and Fun!!! And remember, when fishing with Adventure South Guide Service, you will catch your own fish. I will not catch them for you. Think about it. If you come in with 100 trout, and your guide caught 70 of them, how much fun is that for you and your party? Did you pay him to put you on the fish, or to watch him catch fish?
Until Net Time, Catch Em? Up!!
